Announcing the On-Track Program

Attention Katy Parents Now Homeschooling

Governor Abbott announced that schools will be closed for the remainder of the academic year, however KISD will continue to utilize an “at home” curriculum for education. We understand it’s not always possible to spend hours a day on homeschooling, entertaining and making healthy meals throughout the day, especially if you’re working from home or going back to work. We are excited to bring to you the On Track Program from My Place Early Learning Centers.

The program is for K-5 and designed to have a teacher assist the students with their daily required on-line lesson plans, worksheets, reading and even participate in Video Conference meetings!

1. We will provide a laptop/tablet when necessary, but if you want to bring your own device that your child has become comfortable with that’s okay

2. We provide 4 meals a day

3. My Place is maintaining an “above regulation” standard of sanitizing the facility and complying with all State and Federal guidelines for operations: No parents in the building, all that enter are scanned for temperature and monitored

4. In addition to continued education, My Place makes the day fun with activities from games and socializing to educational STEM programming

We hope that this program helps families and our community get through a very challenging time and look forward to having prepared students for the next school year!
